A significant personal financial loss changed the way I understood generosity. When the “large amounts” I once thought made an impact were gone, I honestly wondered if I was still generous at all.
So I went back to Scripture—and discovered something that completely reshaped my understanding: generosity was never about the amount. It was about the heart.
Jesus shows us a different way. Love Him first. Love others as yourself. And as we love Him more deeply, His love begins to change us—it forms us. Generosity isn’t simply something we do. It’s something we become.
But this isn’t about me.
It’s an invitation to see generosity differently. To love Jesus more dearly. To follow Him more closely. And to discover what happens when His love takes hold of our lives—until generosity becomes unavoidable.
